Kings Run Charters offers the seriously minded hunter the opportunity for trophy game. Whether you’re a skilled, veteran hunter or novice, our experience and flexibility allows us to tailor your hunt to meet and exceed your expectations.
Your hunt begins when you step off the plane in Dillingham, Alaska. You’ll be met and transported to your bush plane and the next stop will be our wilderness camp in Unit 17, the Tik Chik Wood River State Park.
We offer Brown Bear, Moose and Caribou…..single or combination hunts. We hunt the Brown Bear with “one on one” and suggest this for Moose also. The Caribou can be booked as a “one on one” or two hunters per one guide.
Your registered guide, Larry Cobb, along with assistant guide, Rick McCoy, will be your hunt hosts. Larry has been hunting out in Unit 17 since 1982. They both are year around Alaska residence and have invaluable experience in taking all the above-mentioned game. We encourage you to call and talk with us concerning your hunting needs.
Our Moose season is open from September 5th to the 15th. Our Brown Bear hunts are available from September 20th until October 20th. Our Caribou hunts are available from Mid August through April 15th.

We offer discounts on combination hunts.
Non-hunters accompanying hunters are welcome in camp for an additional camp fee. Please limit to one.
